Junior/Feeder Programs in Northern Colorado
A "junior" or "feeder" program is designed with the intention of having players that will be attending the same high school play together as young as possible for as many years as possible! Some programs are organized for boys and girls, some only offer for one or the other for 4th-8th grades to commit to play basketball for two seasons - Fall (Oct/Nov) and Winter (Jan/Feb).Most junior programs hold tryouts sometime in September and then quickly begin practice following tryouts. The junior programs typically play in leagues in Northern Colorado during October-November and then varying leagues in January-February/March.
RMYS supports all junior programs and encourages all young players to find the junior program that is right for them. Therefore, we have created this webpage to help players find information on junior programs offered in Northern Colorado. If information is not listed for your area, please contact the head coach of that high school directly to learn more about programs they may offer.
