RMYS Mission
Rocky Mountain Youth Sports (RMYS) is dedicated to providing opportunities for youth of all ages to play basketball. It is our desire to advance the game of basketball through a solid organization that focuses on character and skill development.
RMYS is home of the Rocky Mountain Fever, premier club basketball teams for 5th-12th grade boys and girls to play Spring/Summer basketball.
RMYS organizes and manages Junior teams for 4th-8th grade boys and girls playing in Fall/Winter basketball seasons.
For the youngest grades, K-5th, RMYS organizes Spring Break basketball mini-camps.
- Solid Organization utilizing the founders' organization and communication skills developed through their experience in Corporate careers, successful small businesses and volunteer activities.
- Character Development through qualified coaches; increase self-esteem and confidence while using basketball to learn life lessons of triumph and defeat.
- Skill Development through organized team play; local and distant leagues and tournaments; qualified coaches, clinics and skill sessions.

RMYS also has an affiliation with Triple Crown Colorado Chill (TC Chill) girl's basketball.
RMYS will continue to offer competitve girl's teams for grades 5th-11th through our Rocky Mountain Fever program.

Our History
- 2010 Fall - High School Tryout Tuneups in October/November
- 2010 Affiliation with Triple Crown Sports and
TC Colorado Chill - 2010 Fall/Winter - 7 Junior Programs: Jr Cat Boys (4 teams); Jr Cat Girls (3); Jr Wolves Boys (2); Jr Wolves Girls (1); Fort Collins Boys** (2); Juniors** (2); Jr Imps Boys**; Jr Lions Boys** (Programs marked with ** are new this season).
- 2010 Fall - Added "Juniors" program combining players from around the city from programs that either did not have enough players for a grade/gender or did not have enough for a second team. For 2010-11, we formed 5th grade boys and 6th grade girls. These teams go by the name "Juniors" and wear orange.
- 2010 Summer - 19 Fever Teams: HS boys (7 teams); HS girls (4); Younger Boys (5); Younger Girls (3)
- Player Development Coordinator. Added Marty Bertolette as our first coordinator. Marty manages Skill Sessions and provides private, semi-private and small group training for players to help them develop outside of the team environment.
